Merino is perfect for spinning or felting, it's super soft with a micron count of 23! All our Merino colours are named after the Chilterns and the surrounding area.
The edible dormouse or fat dormouse (Glis glis) is a large dormouse and the only living species in the genus Glis, found in most of western Europe. Its name comes from the Romans, who ate them as a delicacy (The Swines!) In Britain they are virtually unheard of except in Buckinghamshire after Lord Rothschild brought them to his estate in Tring. A few escaped and made their homes in the surrounding area.
Although we try to match the true colour in the photograph, please be aware that colours on different monitors differ. Come into the shop to see and feel it in the flesh as it were!
